After more than a month's delay, the post is finally ready. With every day passing by, the expectation from readers increase and 'waiting for your next post' emails continue to increase as well. What can I say. I try to capture the growing process from start to end of a plant/veggie. Hence it takes long time and sometimes it is as long as the crop cycle to finish a post.

Hopefully, this post  will make the wait worth it.

Without further ado, Here is a post on growing lettuce hydroponically using NFT system.

Hi – can you a cost benefit analysis – I have got around 3-400 Sq feet in first floor and similar areas in second floor and both are totally exposed to sunlight.  currently on first floor I got some pots filled with mixture of sheep manure, soil and sand….

(1) Please let me know if this is good enough to grow plans…I have sown seeds and they all are growing but hard to say if they are growing well or not…seeing your lettuce obviously mine aren't that green or healthy

(2) Is it ok to put dead leaves on top of the pots  – I am already preparing manure ina corner..but till it rots and becomes manure is it ok to just spread around additional dead leaves near the roots – this is both for plants planted directly in soil and plants in pots  -I got unlimited supply of dead leaves near my house.

(2) Please let me know the cost of each of the things you used.

(3) I will call you once I get the reply if its ok with you.

Congrats on your produce..
