Even though I have a soil made up of Red soil, Cow Manure and Neem cake, growth of veggies seems poor. Palak is very small. So is corriander, carrots and beets. I wonder whether I should add some Inorganic NPK mixture along with compost.
I have also seen an organic NPK called Calpushti; any idea or Views ? I found spraying Panchagavya once a week (twice so far) has helped growth particularly Carrots and beets. Should I carry on with this foliar spray and forget the NPK ? Will be thankful for your advice.
Hi, I am ANM . I have a small garden with roses, hibiscus, jasmine, allamanda some decorative plants like arica palm, ficus, small patch of not so healthy looking lawn. The allamanda one in big pot and the one on land is in full bloom presently with lots of flowers never seen anywhere. Roses are not growing very well and is my biggest challenge. The foliage looks very weak and un-healthy, get small flowers. I have not got the soil tested. Recently started to use neem cake and Epsom salt apart from DAP, cow dung, and some commercial mixes purchased on line, and waiting for the result. Need help on the sequence(the order in which I shall apply various types) and frequency of applying fertilizers.
Also I have started flower and leafy veg. in-doors with only coco peat medium(soil less) and under artificial lighting. Again confused as above about fertilizing. Should I use hydroponics nutrients on plants in coco peat medium.
Pl. give your advice on both of the above.
