Hello Everyone,

I'd like to share a few pics from my garden. I chanced upon GG's blog...and it had me hooked. I started gardening in earnest. I live in an apartment so place was a major constraint. I decided to try and grow vegetables in containers...and nature didn't let down. Please check the link and let me know what you think.

Hi SowerGrower:

Gret Okra !! Must say I have never seen such flowers in Okra. They look more like Poinsettia. The flowers make your Okra an ornamental also while providing such delicious looking Okra. Regards.

Hello Satish !

Not for once did I want you to believe they were okra flowers. Those are poinsettia blooms in the background.

Okra flowers are beautiful too. But the bloom lasts for just a few hours. It is perhaps one of the most beautiful vegetable flowers. Check the pic.

Hi SowerGrower:

It was just an attempt to 'lighten up' our discussion (since Holi is almost there !). Thanks a lot for the pics of Okra flowers. Thanks also for clearing up any dreams that I or the others might have had about a 'new variety' of Okra. Now I feel more in sync with your Okra. Earlier I had thought I should try and get seeds from you !! Happy Holi. Regards.

Satish
