Growing citrus plants indoors
March 23, 2013

I live at an apartment and wanted to grow citrus plants either on my balcony or indoors. That means the plant has to be less than 8 feet tall. Looking around, the only options seem to be kumquats or calamondin (called mini orange in Bangalore?).

Any idea where I can find these? I wanted to ask some of my friends to get seeds from outside India but then read that ideally citrus plants are best when they are grafted on some root stock. That basically means I am probably looking at some nursery that stocks these plants.

Reading on the web I hear the best kumquats are called meiwa kumquats. If I can find one of these in Bangalore it would be great!
