Hi avid gardeners, I am a newbie with a papaya tree in my garden. It is less than a year old. It flowers nicely but does not give fruit. The flowers fall off after a while. I also checked and found out that the papaya tree is not male. What is the reason? Does it need some supplement? Please guide. Thanks.

Pics please. What is the variety of this papaya. Some plants need to be pollinated by a male plant in the neighborhood.

Here is the link to the pics of the papaya tree and flowers https://picasaweb.google.com/116686921945473767957/Garden02#

Don't know which variety it is. Would appreciate if you could identify it.

Thanks,

Asha
