Thanks for the update.
I think I have tried but may have not spoken to the same person.
I will try again. I am looking for grow bags but I need Quick fill or Easy grow bags as it is much more easy to handle.
Could you please give me some more information about the grow bags that you have ordered and at what price you got it, including transport cost.
I am not a commerical farmer at this point of time but would like to be in some distant future 😉
Thanks & Regards,
The charges are between Rs. 45 to Rs. 55 per growbag depending on the quality (see the site for the specs). The shipping charges are the actuals that the shipping company charges (TCI). The last time I paid Rs 350 for shipping thought he actual cost was around Rs. 500 for the 20 bags.
This time it is Rs. 2000 for 80 bags to Hyderabad.
You can mention my name (Srikanth from Hyderabad) if required.
I have spoken to them and waiting for there response.
I have even contacted other person and one person with who I have spoken has shared some more useful information.
His name is Akbar ali and the website is http://www.magicpeat.com
He is also manufacturing Organic coco peat which can be used, where we dont have to provide any nutrition throughout the crop cycle.
He told that it is viable only for exotic crops.
He is also selling grow bags but he suggested me that instead of grow bags I should go for cement bags as they are very cheap and also grow bags has only 2 year life cycle whereas even if we use cement bag for 1 or 2 years it comes out very cheap.
He has grown stuff in cement bags and you could even see some pics on the website under gallery.
I am thinking of using Nursery bags instead of cement bags, what would be your suggestion, I think it will be cheap and also durable for atleast few crop cycles.
Your suggestion ??
Thanks & Regards,
