Hi!  I bought a Hydroponics kit from GG two weeks ago and I thought I'll post pictures of it and updates as time goes on.

As you can see I don't have my transplants ready as yet. (Ive started lettuce and I'm worried they are getting affected by damping off) So I covered most of the holes
with duct tape for now. The first four plants in the system are Basale Alba aka Malabar Spinach which were sown in pots by my mom.
They took a week to send out roots and have now established themselves are growing vigorously.
The black drum contains a submersible pump that pumps the nutrient water and a air pump resides in the white transparent tote
which constantlys areates the water in the black drum.

Also seen in the picture is the drip system I have setup recently, mint bought from GG and a Sacred Fig bonsai tree.

Thanks Srikanth & Banjop. I'll be posting updates tomorrow. TGIF.

@Banjop – I bought this kit from the GeekGardener popularly known as GG who's blog and forum we are currently posting on :)

You can get in touch with him at http://geekgardener.in/contact-me/

He'll help you setup your hydroponic system.

Updates – 20120206

Posting tow pictures of the Hydroponic system.
1. Malabar Spinach is growing fresh shoots from all sides.

2. I bought a Romaine Lettuce from GG during the last weekend sale. We had a hearty salad twice and per his suggestion I stuck it up in the hydropnic system
and now it will grow to give me 4-5 more salads. Awesome, this way there would be no need of refrigerating lettuce.

Hi

Very nice..

Any update on your orchids? My small one is on the verge of fading into oblivion. Learnt the price of over-watering and understood many techniques on the way. But sadly lost my own plant. Waiting to get myself a new one sooner than later.

Updates 20120213

You can now see a new second unit, my dad built this as a surprise. I got two lettuce seedlings from GG and I have stuck them into the system. The Romaine lettuce keeps growing new leaves. We've been having salad every two days from it and it keeps growing like crazy.

Hi mgardener, I've posted pictures in another blog post. Sadly I feel I'm going to lose both as I overwatered them + overfed them with nutrients. Need to take them off the drip system.
I know how it feels to lose orchids. Wish you the very best when you get a new one.
