Hi,

I have given a link to a calculator in the 'Hydroponics Calculator' thread. In that calculator there are some formulae that you can use.

In my opinion Spinach is the easiest of them all. It grows well in almost any NS. I am currently using Tropical Lettuce formula and it is thriving. In fact I am using that formula for Cabbage, Cucumbere and Spinach. All of them are doing good.

I suggest that anyone who wants to dabble in Hydroponics should start with Spinach as it is very tolerant to NS variations and quick gratification.

What exactly is the problem with your Spinach?

Thanks,

Srikanth

I think the problem is not your nutrient solution but something else. Does the plant get good light?. Is the drainage proper? Check for sucking pests in the leaves.

what is the concentration of the nutrient you are watering with. in the sense how many grams of salts you add. Let me know and also post a pic.

hi gg

i dont get enough light only in the evening light so i am trying to do it indoor using led lights.we made our own setup it is a 25w red and blue combination led setup.

 i use 2.5g npk 19:19:19 ,1/4 g mg and 1/4 g ca for 1litre.

i am changing the salts for the new setup.i am going to use proper salts.but still want to save this poor thing.i have uploaded the snaps.below

Hello Newgardener,

First, I appreciate your passion and your spirit for trying your best with what you have!. There are people with acres of land lying vacant(No disrespect!).

I don't see any problem with the nutrient. The main problem is lack of enough light. You said you are using LED light. How close are the lights to the plants?
