Hello all fellow gardeners,

I have a 200 sqft terrace space in Bangalore approximately 20 ft x 10 ft . Planning a mini - greehouse with soil culture . I can put up a framework of steel supports on the side. My doubt is that would shade net protect the surface or pots below from extended spells of rain ? Should I go in for something like say a 200 micron, UV resistant translucent plastic sheet stretched over the top at 8 ft height. Further with the option of draping a shade net for cutting radiation in case the temperature shows up to be on the higher side. Costs are an issue but I save on it by fashioning out steel posts from scrap steel.

look forward to advice from the geeks out there !
