Hello All,

I have started to put new plants on my roof top.  I stay in Chennai.  I see that on my hibiscus plants, there are some small insects that are in white color.  They have sticky substance.  After reading few blogs, I understand they might be Aphids.  .  I tried by spraying turmeric powder, and also used the powder given in the nursery when asked for.  I also used Red chilli powder (read somewhere).  Still aphids are there. Can someone please help me how to get rid off those insects

Thanks A lot.

Hi,

I too faced the same problem of aphids in my hibiscus plants.sprayed neem oil quiet often. Now the plants are free of aphids.Based on the severity of the problem, spray it once or twice in a week.It takes time to get rid of the problem organically but is very effective.

Regards,

malini.
