Hi GG & All the Gardeners

I have just started gardening & blogs like this are great encouragement for us!

I need a suggestion! What is the first thing to be planted when you start gardening, I'm interested in vegetable planting & have an open terrace.Kindly suggest!

Welcome to this forum.

First thing to grow? Interesting question. I am sure many have answers for this

Radish, Spinach, Methi, Pudina(mint)..All of these need less time and come to harvest very quickly. There is always tomato, chillies, capsicum etc but the duration is little longer.

Did I answer your question?

GG

Spinanch is a good idea. My mom grows the red spinanch (cheera) and I remember it was really easy.

I'm gonna disagree with GG with his startup list, he got me to grow beans and I'm now harvesting beans every 2 days. And they grow super fast,

and yes among greens, spinach rules!
