hello,

I have filled with red soil in 150 sqft place and started putting tommato, brinjal and leafy seeds. today morning i can see little green leafs coming up(very little). as srikanth mentioned in earlier comment do i need to add vermicompost to redsoil for better results?

why my other seeds are not germinating after a week, do they require more time?

please suggest

Give them another 4 days to germinate. Vermicompost should have been incorporated in the soil before sowing. Red soil should have enough nutrients for the plants for at least couple of weeks after germination. The seeds themselves provide enough nutrition for the initial stages of the plant anyway. You can sprinkle 3 to 4 kgs of vermicompost over the 150 sqft and water using a rose can once the plants have become sturdy in about 25 days.

Hi Naresh,

If you refer to this thread in one of the posts you should find the shop details at Ashok Nagar near BHEL. Hyderguda shops are located near Bahar Cafe. I am not aware of any stores near Hightech city, Kukatpally and Miyapur.

Hi Naresh,

There is no need for cocopeat. May be the seeds you bought are too old. Buy a new pack (check the expiry date) and sow them again. Do not over water the seeds.

Hello Srikanth,
as i mentioned in earlier message, i was waited tommato, brinjal seeds to germinated for 4 weeks but 2 days back i saw all the seeds are germinated after 5 weeks Confused
with this inspiration :-) i bought Red/Yellow capsicum, cabbiage seeds and want to grow them as well, my question here is ...do i need to put them along with other seeds or can i maintain them in a separate POT as GG always shows us?

Separate containers. Then you can transplant them to your main field.

I have already been there on Monday. It is below par. In fact the one organized by CII couple of years ago was really good.
