I have filled with red soil in 150 sqft place and started putting tommato, brinjal and leafy seeds. today morning i can see little green leafs coming up(very little). as srikanth mentioned in earlier comment do i need to add vermicompost to redsoil for better results?
why my other seeds are not germinating after a week, do they require more time?
Give them another 4 days to germinate. Vermicompost should have been incorporated in the soil before sowing. Red soil should have enough nutrients for the plants for at least couple of weeks after germination. The seeds themselves provide enough nutrition for the initial stages of the plant anyway. You can sprinkle 3 to 4 kgs of vermicompost over the 150 sqft and water using a rose can once the plants have become sturdy in about 25 days.
as per your suggestion i haved added vermicompost to redsoil. out of all vegis only green leaf seeds are germinated and now its of 2 inch in size but i dont see any tommato, brinal seeds germinated(after 4 weeks). can i put some cocopet or vermicompost to that soild and add seeds again?
as i mentioned in earlier message, i was waited tommato, brinjal seeds to germinated for 4 weeks but 2 days back i saw all the seeds are germinated after 5 weeks
with this inspiration i bought Red/Yellow capsicum, cabbiage seeds and want to grow them as well, my question here is ...do i need to put them along with other seeds or can i maintain them in a separate POT as GG always shows us?
reply from any one is appriciated thanks naresh
