Hi All,

Couple of months I started with my first tomato plant, initially it was flowering but no fruits observed.

Now for last 15 days the leaves have turned yellow and curlled up.

The soil is mixture of cocopeat + compost.

Hi Vikram,Sadhana

In my experience, tomato plants are heavy feeders.Though we add compost to the soil, feeding them with a fertilizer(in a meager amount)once a week really helps.

Hi,

Even I'm facing the same problem with my tomato plants, few has only one single fruit, and one with a good sized fruit that's taking so long to ripe... Also problems like flowers drying out.

Malini,

If you can mention the name of the fertilizer and how to apply it would be really helpful. I'd really like to give some boost to my plant.

Thanks,

Hema ( Newbie from Hyderabad)

Hi Hema

I apply miracle grow when the plants are young and miracle bloom when they are flowering.I reckon any fertilizer that is rich in nitrogen during the early stages and the one that is rich in potassium in the flowering stage is A OK.

regards,

malini
