 Hi All,

This is Sreeja here from BTM layout ,Bangalore. I am a beginner in gardening and i am really happy that I landed up here with GG where I can get lot of valuable advices and suggestion and a companyof lot of enthusiastic people.

So , as I plan to move forward , I would like to know, where in bangalore I can get good soil to startup with? As of now I am planning to start up in my small balcony and as I study and dig in to it more, I can move to more spacious area..

 Please help me Smile

You can very well get Soil in any nursery farm. cost will be around Rs. 80/- per gunny bag.

Nisha,

The Agri-horticultural society on Cathedral road, near the American consulate has good mixed soil. You will need to take gunny bags to buy it.They are open on all days except Thursdays.

Best wishes for a green harvest,

Lakshmi.. a fellow chennai-ite
