I had a beautiful butterfly garden in 1 of my balconies. it was so pretty with about 300-400 flowers blooming daily. Then came winter and with the early morning fog(it is there till 8-9) in Bangalore, after that I could see white powdery stuff on the leaves(I think it is mildew). I took all the plants on the terrace, none of them survived there. I am scared to buy plants for my home now. any solution for this mildew?

mildew is quite common. you should not water the plants from the top (wetting the leaves). also keep the plants well spaced. you can spray baking soda 1 teaspoon in a litre of water and spray. wettable sulfur should help as well.
