please help me to germinate lollo rosa seeds.
My first two attempts to germinate the lollo rosa seeds from gardenguru have failed. not a single seed germinated
first i tried germinating 20 seeds in coco-peat with a very thin layer covering the seeds.
next i tried to germinate 20 seeds on tissue paper and exposed to bright shade.
in both cases i used plain water at 27 C sprinkled lightly, to keep the medium damp but not wet. .
I read about lettuce seeds becoming dormant if exposed to temperatures above 28 C. and the necessity of priming them before germination.
i have now kept the seeds in the refrigerator for the past 3 days, at 8 C. and will sow them in oasis cubes and coco peat to see which works better.
will post the progress of the seeds.
