Hello Sudarsam,

Yes, I have kept my plants on the terrace. I did not do any special treatment to the terrace. Mine also has 'red tiles' laid, but I am not sure if this is what they called as Weathering course. I shall check with my builder.

Regards

Jay

@jay & raghu if you want to see the endless photographs I end up taking of the vegetables & flowers visit my blog ushadasan.blogspot.com  gardening & other hobiesLaugh

Hi Usha,

I saw the vegetable pictures at your blog. absolutely amazing. Especially the chillies and tomatoes.I have a tough time raise the chilly plants. everything is affected by the leaf curling diseases. I am applying panchagavya but not much benefit to this disease even though it helps in other aspects of plant growth. I don't do the flowers, however, I liked your flower collection as well.

Cheers,

Ramesh.

Hi Ramesh,

Yes, I use them during the summer months for watering the plants. I have made small holes at the bottom of the bottles and adjust the bottle cap to control the water dripping into the pots. This helped me during the hot months.

Also, it is extremely helpful to have a good mulch to cover the top soil. I saw this benefiting the okra plants.

Regards

Jay
