Hi everyone

i have sown some french beans seeds in  4 " seed tray as shown in the pic. it has germinated and it is growing fast day by day. now the seedling is 7 days old. pls let me know when can i transplant this to a individual pot. can plant two seedlings in a big pot.

I checked the pics. My comments
1. Bean plants look lanky and tall. Clearly they are not getting the sunlight they need.
2. Beans should not be transplanted but direct seeded.

Do the following
1. move the seedling tray to a bright spot.
2. reduce the watering and this makes the media light. now carefully lift the bean seedlings and move it to a bigger pot and keep your fingers crossed that they pickup.

also parallely sow bean seeds directly in a pot. spaced at 6-8 inches bettween plants. a 12inch dia pot can have upto 4-5 plants

i have transplated them today n managed to retain 95% root system. lets hope they survive.

i want to know how to extract seeds from green red n yellow capsicum and how to sow them. n for that matter how to extract seed of veggies from our regular mandi.
