There is no doubt about the fact is we all get inspiration & enthu from gg. As gg mentioned also because of ur efforts & interest. Of course one should also have god gift green thumb like gg have. We all proud of your first class roof top garden. The need for it is more important considering the amount of pesticide being used on veggies. Keep it up. Looking forward to more posts. Thanks a lot.

Hi Manohar,

Congrats. You have an inspiring garden. Can you write a detailed post on the fertilizing regime, nutrient requirements, pest management, potting mix used etc. It will be enormously helpful for aspiring gardeners like me.

Regards,

Revathi

Revathi!,

Thanks for the complement.

I have used the potting mix of Cocopeat and Red soil in the ration of 1:2.

For the plants in trays I used 19.19.19(Water soluble), dissolved 1Kg of the powder in 20 Ltr and added 200ml per 5 litre watering can, once or twice a week. For pest control, as my garden in in the first floor, naturally the incidence of pests is minimum. But I used Neem Sol of Prathibha  bio tech because it is cheaper than other companies.

For hydroponics, I ordered GG for general grow and bloom. They worked well.

Thx again. Cheers!

Manohar.

Manohar,

If you dont mind, I would like you to give a detailed writeup and we can put it as a sticky post in forums or a post in the blog. So many will get inspired from your efforts.

Manohar,

I suggest you dont post your Contact # on a public forum. Please send it as a personal message (PM). I really welcome your sharing of knowledge. It is just that I am worried spammers might misuse your #.
