Newgardener, I dont have a greenhouse nor any experience, but can give you some pointers. For greenhouse the primary requirement is the type of material used for covering the structure. Commonly used are "shade nets" which come in various percentages representing the amount of light it can pass through. I am looking for something like this for my terrace as well. I think they also use polyethylene for cover and is called polyhouse. There are various other nets like insect nets..etc. You can also search for "hobby greenhouses" which are readymade ones.
The other aspect of this is temperature control which is performed using various sprayers, misters and fans. The final one is the irrigation mechanism of which the most commonly used in drip irrigation.
I am also looking around for these stuff. Please share your experiences as it will be helpful for others looking to do the same.
I don't see the point in asking to do google search or use youtube. Nearly all the useful resources in the web are for foreign countries. Rarerly do they talk in Indian context.

It is not a greenhouse if you use a green shade net. Precisely the reason why you should be using youtube and google be able to separate the wheat from the chaff.
If you have decided to go with a greenhouse then you probably already know why it is called a greenhouse vis-a-vis greenhouse effect.
Thanks,
Srikanth

thank you cameroon123 i too have the same idea as you said i didnt get anything useful through net thats why i posted here.i am also planning to you the net only but top should be covered with polythene sheet to avoid rain but another option is also putting a thick layer of the net itself.got these ideas when i visited a agri mela in cbe.
srikanth as you said greenhouse is a greenhouse but that is not applicable in a terrace.our option is only the net but should be strong otherwise the breeze will pull everything off.
other option going to professionals but should be ready to spend a load......1person said 800rs for 1sqm.so can imagine the rate.
so if any 1 tries please do update
