Hi,

I am thinking to grow, Indian Spinach (Bachali) on my terrace, from all other leafy vegetables, it is a different kind which grows like creeper. Can any one suggest me which will be the best container to grow. And what are the things necessary to maintain the long leafy creepers while it grows. (ex.. like where to tie the ropes for its support)

Regards,

Sai

Hi Sai

Any pot(clay, plastic etc) of 12 inch or more can be used for growing Indian spinach. It requires a trellis to cling to.Easy one to make is out of bamboo. As it grows fast, the stems can be directed and tied to the trellis.A cloth liner(3-4 lines close by)can also be used as a support.

Regards,

malini
