Hi Pramod,
You can get away with using the same nutrients for multiple plants so long as they are at the same stages of growth (Vegetative, flowering, fruiting). You have to adjust your NS recipe according to the growth stage. The nutrient requirements are different at various stages.
Thanks,

Hi Srikanth,
Does that mean that the same fruiting solution for Tomato can be used for say Brinjal plant?
And I've also asked that my tomato plant while in fruiting stage, the fruits does not grow big and quantity are very less. They grow the size of lemons and I get just 4-5 tomatoes per plant.
Can you think of any reason that might be affecting this?

Generally NS Recipes are closely guarded secret. You can use the tomato recipe for Brinjal. There could be multiple reasons for your problems.
1. Do you change the NS frequently (at least once in 2 weeks)?
2. Are your nutrients properly balanced?
3. Is the ambient temperature too high?
4. Is the NS temperature high?
5. Is you pH between 5.5 and 6.5?
6. What is your source water free of sodium (i.e. no water from the water softener)?
Thanks,
Srikanth

Pramod,
The key to hydroponics is not just the recipe but reading the plants. For fruiting plants, you need to pay lot of attention in order to determine whether the plant is growing vegetatively or generatively. Hydroponic nutrients are plant specific, weather specific if you want to precisely devise one. But most of the plants accept a range. Yuu can use a tomato nutrient for Brinjal.
Since you have all the required salts to make a nutrient solution. It is easier to tweak the solution to get required results.
The points Srikanth mentioned are very important and should be paid attention before we tweak the solution.
For E.g tomato plants not producing big fruits can be due to multiple reasons. You need to find out if your tomato plant is vegetative (V) or generative ( G). a vegetative plant will show bullish growth curved leaves. very thick stems. upright flower truss.
post some pics and we can discuss this in length.
tweaking the nutes is one way of controlling the V or G. What is the EC of the nutrient solution?
