Having waited to get answers to my queries, I made some effort on my own and was able to find an excellent source of information.

http://www.helpfulgardener.com/phpBB2/

This forum is primarily for US natives, but I found a few Indian gardeners and rookies as well.

Lots of mods and admin who have a good amount of understanding on growing plants and vegetables, bonsai, organic gardening, hydroponics etc etc.

There will be differences in US v/s Indian temperatures and hardiness of US zones as compared to India, but thats only the smaller bit. They're able to answer your queries if you tell them about the Indian weather conditions and humidity levels etc.

The best thing I liked is the answers were very prompt. You could ask all kinds of queries and Mods would reply it the next day (mostly). It has pictures of nice setups with grow lights for when there's not enough sunlight.

They do have a problem if I ask any query about something which is very specific to Indian vegetables/ climate, but still they try their best to answer. This forum is always there 🙂

Hopefully this helps other fellow gardeners. There are plenty of stickies as well.
