I had put the seeds from a store bought capsicum on top of the soil in a planter. Didn't really throw soil over them. The other seeds that i did sow in a similar way, have germinated. Like tomato, brinjal, chilli etc. Only the capsicum hasn't. Is there something I can do to help it germinate? Its currently kept under a window, with only indirect sunlight.

The seeds have to be sown 1 inch deep. Or scatter the seeds on the soil, then fill an other layer of soil on top. this will make sure the seeds are kept moist. initially while germination indirect sunlight is fine, say near a window. but once the sprouts are 1 inch height put them in direct sunlight. and don't let the soil dry out.
Thanks
