Hello GG
I have sown radish. They have come out with long legs in ten days.I am putting cocoapeat and compost to cover but they are not standing .Some are damping off.Shall I thin them? Transplanting them I feel is difficult.Broccoli is also in same condition. As it is raining here sunlight is not sufficient. Is this the reason for damping? Please guide me.
Thanks in advance

Hi,
long legs for any seedling is due to the stretching because of lack of light. exposing them to direct sunlight is the only way. thin seedlings break sometime.
also excessive moisture with little/no drainage will cause damp-off/rotting.
dont water the pot if there is moisture and bring the pot to direct sunlight
