Dear Friends,

I planted a number of flower plants around two months back. All of them are good green but I do not have flowers. All plants have good access to sunlight.

I have planted dahlia from tubers. I bought them from lalbagh. They had grown big. I mean really big around 4 feet in height. But stem is too weak to hold its own weight. On one of the pots they even do not stand. It is behaving more like a creeper! Is there any nutrient deficiency ?

I have also planted May flowers, Amaryllis and gladiolus from bulbs. I have very nice leaves but no flowers. Do i need to add some fertilizer? My local nursery guy is asking me to add DAP. I am not able to understand its significance.

I also have two germanium plants. Again it have a lot of leaves but no flowers. I have stopped feeding it but still no flowers.

When I potted my tubers and bulbs, I added vermiculite and neem compost in equal measure with soil.

I am looking for flowers soon 🙂
