GG, you used to provide lists of which vegetables are best grown in each month. Could you let us know what is best planted in November in Bangalore?
Thanks and regards
Jeanne,
Along with you, several others have been asking this and it is at the top of my list. I am working on it.
You can start sowing the warm season crops this Jan (like gourds, water melon, musk melon) you will get a good yield by summer.
I am working on posting a detailed chart soon.
Sorry for keeping you all waiting.

Hi GG:
Please allow me to make a suggestion with regard to the 'chart' that you are working on: I feel it would be nice if you could also include the ideal temperature for germination of the seeds of each vegetable besides the suggested month of sowing. This would make your 'chart' universally relevant. It would be particularly useful in our big country that has such vast differences in climate of various areas. For example, it might already be above 20C in Bangalore, thus making it suitable for sowing Okra while in Delhi we will have to wait till about the middle of February to be able to do so. Even for gourds it is still very cool in Delhi. Regards
Satish
