I have been growing methi regularly. I just take methi seeds from the kitchen and keep it in water for germination for 24 hours. Next day, I sow the germinated seeds patiently in the pot. I draw lines in the pot (I have a lengthy Pots for greens), and sow single seeds with a spacing of about 3". After seeding, I put some saw dust which keeps the moisture and then cover the pot with a plastic sheet over the pot. The sprouts come up in about three days and the full methi is ready for harvest in about 2 weeks time. I have been planting methi for the past two years. I keep the soil mix very loose by adding equal quantity of Cocopeat. I am sure this will help Shri Man Mohan.
