Hi GG,
Thank you so much for your quick reply. Unfortunately I was so disheartened after seeing this that I plucked out all the leaves except the top 3 healthy stems (it is a small neem plant in a pot). After googling, it seemed to look a lot like powdery mildew. I've sprayed with some baking soda solution like suggested in some forums. Do let me know if you have any other suggestions.
As for mealy bugs, they are also there in some pots 🙁 - I inserted some cut garlic pods in the soil like I read somewhere - but was shocked today to see some plump mealy bugs sucking on the garlic too! I am yet to try your solution of using rubbing alcohol.
I want to thank you for being such an inspiration. Am a novice gardener - have some pots on my 8th floor balcony in Bannerghatta road. Just started growing okra, lettuce, methi, mint and tomatoes.
Thanks,
Sathish
