Powdery mildew on rose plant
July 29, 2013 - 8:07 pm

Does anyone have a good organic solution to get rid of powdery mildew on rose plants? I tried some homemade solutions like milk and water, sodium bicarb in water etc but its of no use. Also there are some black spots on the leaves now.

Remove the leaves that are touching the ground and keep the area near the root and stem clean for say 5". and then spray bicarb solution. Also water less as more moisture = more fungus, it is even okay to let the top soil dry a bit as the water will be available in container bottom.Sure sign for you to water will be when your rose leaves start drying. Let us know if this helps you.
