Hello All,

I have a Gladiolus stalk that I have cut and put in a vase. It is doing good in water indoors. Now there is another stalk with three stalks. One main stalk and two other side stalks. Where do I cut the stalk? Please see the picture below.

Number 3 is one of the side stalks. If I were cut at number 1 would the side stalks continue to grow such that I can cut it as an individual stalk or should I cut it at number 2?

My previous Stalk had no side stalks so I did not face this problem.

Thanks,
