Beetel leaves

 I want to know is this a bacterial disease or because of a pest?

From the photo, it looks like it could due to mites. But then the yellowing is due to lack of nutrition. Is it the dots you are concerned about?

hi  . its definetly not getting nutrition.  mix 100grams of neem cake also 100 grams of groundnut cake in 2 litres of water.

 

keep it for a day and apply the slurry   around the beetel plant  and water it well.

 

follow this procedure once a week for 3 to 4 weeksn and see the change...

Yes GG, every leaf gets the dots on it back. I see similar problem with Tulasi and Basil. It has reddish dots on the back of the leaves. What are these dots?

Rashmi,

Mite damage will appear as yellow dots on the top and then you can see tiny bugs that are mites under the leaves.  Those reddish dots you see must be moving. do they? In some plants the yellow dots on the top may appear in different color. Say if you have red color cabbage/red radish or something like that, then the color on the top will be purple.. basically the green goes away ( chlorosis).

my tulsi plant was going so healthy till last couple of days..

black little insects are present on back of the leaves

leaves are curling...and dying..getting black....

what do i do...???

Hi gg ,

I have a similar prob with amaranthus greens . The ones i sowed in pots are doing fine . Do to lack of pots i sowed them in the soil and i found the leaves having white patches like this .
