Mostly in my Brinjal Plants, the leaves become perforated and it look very much diseased.  I spray Neem Spray and also sprayed butter milk.  Is it advisable to remove the affected leaves?  What is the remedy.  I have about ten pots with Brinjal Plants and during the last two months, I had a very good harvest every alternate days.Any suggestion for the problem.  Is it advisable to remove the plants and plant fresh saplings? Thanks.

Hello Sir,

The holes/performation may be due to worms/beetles eating away the leaves. the best thing to do is to inspect the plants for insects like hoppers/beetle etc. Removing the plants wont help as these insects fly away and come back for the 2nd plant. Drench the plant with neem oil spray every week. spring a fine dust of ash on the leaves. DONT cover the whole leaf surface with ash since they need to perform photosynthesis.
